A few weeks ago Eric and I and some cafe co-workers road-tripped up to Brooklyn for the day. We did a mini “coffee crawl” checking out some cafes and roasters in the area. SSooo many great little nooks and places to see! I can’t wait to go back. We drank SO much coffee haha. This trip I challenged my self by only taking a tilt shift lens.. one of which i’ve NEVER used...

a final weekend getaway..
This past weekend was the final weekend before my fiance Eric and good friend Samuel departed the big island. We rented an infamous orange jeep, piled it full of friends, blasted the tunes, rolled the windows down and headed out to one of my favorite places on the island. Waipio Valley…

We stumbled upon a temple one day that had numerous groups preparing for a parade. They welcomed us foreigners into the flurry of activity and let us photograph them before and during the festivities.
